Deet Wise is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and novelist who performs original music, old rock and classic country in Canada's territories. He lives in Tuktoyaktuk (Tuktuuyaqtuuq) Northwest Territories on the Arctic coast in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region and grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in Chippewa County.
